The month of June was red
hot for The Sterling Private Residences, with sales of 45 homes
in the first 3 weeks. That brings The Sterling to 200-homes sold
in three months on the market. Sales Manager, Sharon Rizzo attributes
the great demand for The Sterling to its "curve appeal"
and unique appearance, riverfront loop location, and panoramic floor
to ceiling river views. Indeed, more than 50 percent of the 389-unit
property has been purchased by homebuyers craving The Sterling's
urban lifestyle.
Located at 345 N. LaSalle Blvd., The Sterling's sleek look and location
have made it a hit with those choosing to relocate to the city.
Homeowners love being near the best that the city has to offer-the
Symphony, the Art Institute, and many of the city's finest restaurants.
Just across from Chicago's loop, homeowners can walk to the financial
district and eliminate their work commute. Also popular with homebuyers
are the building's amenities which include hidden balconies, 14th
level pool and tennis terrace, fitness center and state-of-the-art
parking facility. The mix of in-towns, convertibles, 1-, 2-, and
3-bedroom homes rise above an elegant lobby and retail venue.
Solomon Cordwell Buenz & Associates is credited with The Sterling's
design, while the builder is Walsh Construction, with delivery slated
for late 2001. Newly opened is a mini-sales office within the Material
Culture home design store, located just across from The Sterling
at the northeast corner of LaSalle and Kinzie. A fully furnished
2-bedroom model is slated to debut in late August, at which time
the lobby, 14th level amenity floor, and elevators should also be
completed. Until that time, construction walks are being held twice
per month during July and August.
Home prices at The Sterling Private Residences begin at $175,000.
